Blackham’s Outback is a piece of our family history. What started as a simple idea for a backyard cabin turned into something so much more. Coming from a very musical family, we dreamed of a space where we could gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories. Over the years, it’s become just that—an event space filled with joy, connection, and creativity. We’ve hosted countless concerts, recitals, and family celebrations. In fact, two of my brothers—and even my dad—were married right here.

Welcome to our conveniently situated spot, just 5 blocks from the main street! Enjoy effortless access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. For outdoor enthusiasts, the breathtaking Maple Canyon is a mere 15 miles away, while Fairview Canyon for skiing is only 10 miles away. Revel in the crisp, fresh air of the Rocky Mountains during your stay. Your delightful experiences are just around the corner!
Guest Access
Private king bedroom with ensuite bathroom featuring a jacuzzi and bidet, plus an in-unit washer and dryer. For your entertainment, enjoy a large selection of puzzles. Please note the main entrance is shared with access to the upstairs event area. You’ll also have access to the shared backyard, game room, hot tub, and cleaning closet. My cleaner may stop by between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to restock supplies. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy the tennis court on a first-come, first-served basis—please bring your own rackets and balls. Ping pong is also available upstairs in the shared space. Feel free to play fetch with Sadie, our friendly farm dog, in the backyard.

Feels like a cabin—without getting stuck in the mountains. Blackham’s Outback gives you that cozy, retreat vibe right in town, no dirt roads or icy mountain passes required. Just a heads-up so there are no surprises: – Some amenities are shared (like the backyard, hot tub, tennis court, and laundry). – There’s only one entrance to the unit. – One shower—simple, clean, and functional. – Occasional events upstairs may bring extra energy or sound. – No full kitchen, but you’ll have the essentials: mini fridge, hot plate, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker with pods. – RV parking available, but no hookups.
Other Details to Note
Meet Sadie, our lovable farm dog! She loves kids but can be a little shy sometimes. While your stay is mostly peaceful, please note that the hot tub, upstairs, and living room areas are sometimes shared. We want you to feel right at home!
